Privacy Policy

In short: Stillglass has no account system, no servers of its own, and collects nothing about you. Your timers and your focus history live on your computer and are never uploaded.
Information we collect
None. Stillglass does not collect, transmit or store any personal information. There is no account to create, no email address to provide, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising identifiers.
What the app stores, and where
Everything Stillglass records is written to a database file in your own user folder, under .stillglass in your home directory. That includes:
- The timers you create — their names, durations, visuals, colours and cue settings.
- Your focus sessions — start time, how much focus time was banked, and the optional note you attach to a session.
- Your preferences, including the interface language and your daily and weekly focus targets.
- A log file used only for diagnosing problems on your own machine.
These files are yours. They are not synchronised, backed up by us, or readable by anyone but you and any software you choose to run on your computer.
Network use
Stillglass works entirely offline and does not need an internet connection to function. The app runs a small server bound to your own machine only (127.0.0.1) so that its interface can talk to its own data; this is not reachable from your network or the internet.
The app opens an external link in your browser or mail client only when you explicitly ask it to — for example when you choose to rate the app on the Microsoft Store or to email support. Nothing about you is attached to those links.
Deleting your data
Deleting a session or a timer inside the app removes it from your local database. Uninstalling Stillglass removes the application; you can delete the .stillglass folder in your home directory to remove the stored history as well. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no request you need to make.
Children
Stillglass is a general-purpose productivity tool and does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date above. Stillglass does not begin collecting data without such a change being published first.
